Agility is for all types of
dogs. No dog is too small or
too big!
Over the years I have
encountered many unique
and fun dogs, however one
worthy of special mention is
Xuxa, a 1-year-old Shar-Pei.
Don’t let those wrinkles fool
you – these dogs are very
smart!
Even though Xuxa, like most
Shar-Peis, was challenged
with poor peripheral vision,
she stood out from all the
other dogs. Not only did she
learn agility commands in
English, but also in
Portuguese. Xuxa was a
bilingual agility dog – very
rare!
It was a joy to work with
both Xuxa and her parents.
