Pets & Bets Fundraiser
Fundraiser is being organized now with a planned event date in April
2009. Their objective is to raise money for no-kill rescue groups. For

Buddy, an 80-lb. black lab
mix, would obsessively
guard his domain, barking
and lunging wildly at
anything that approached
the house or yard.
The owner found it very
hard to restrain him and
tried various correction
techniques including
choke, prong and shock
collars. When told to
throw away the collars
and change to a head
collar, the owner was
very skeptical.
Working with Buddy and
his owner I showed them
how to effectively
communicate with each
other and got Buddy to not
take his guarding job so
seriously.
One week later the owner
exclaimed, “I’ve got a new
dog! I don’t know where
the old Buddy went, but I
love the new Buddy!”
